In a recent email Paul described his state this way:
It is like floating - in a thin mist.
Everything is there, but until actually looked at, everything is a vague
vibrant, transparent and undefined form.
When looked at it is like shining out a powerful beam of X-Ray light.
When looking at anything, the outer is bright, clear and shining in vibrant detail, and, simultaneously, the inner is seen - as layers and
layers of infinity - right to the source.
With people it is different than with objects, or living entities, like trees.
Trees are just tree-ing. People are like automatic robots bundling their way along in a repetitive way.
When really looked at, the same X-Ray light reveals their uniqueness.
First, the outer automatic behavioural addictive pattern.
Then the part of themselves they are judging and not accepting - and thus attempting not to reveal to anyone (including themselves) about themselves. (Although, if we want, we can all see this layer in each other very clearly).
Then their immediate potential. Then their more vast potential.
And after some more layers - the universal source - that is one.
It is interesting living with/in this state. It is like learning to walk after an accident that required laying in bed for an extended period of time. Have to relearn, while at the same time, it is familiar - because you once knew how. So although this state has to be adjusted to, there is a knowing that you once lived this way. (And in many other different states.)
Now, nothing is automatic. Every action, syllable, let alone complete words, and thoughts require/evoke awareness. Every single moment.
People remain fascinating, and experienced with much love and caring, yet it gets more and more difficult to connect with them. It is like attempting to talk to someone who is very drunk. You love them, you know they are a wonderful person, but they are just not there to connect with.
The drunkenness is them not being aware - that they are not aware.
Or even worse - believing themselves to be more aware than they actually are.
How to attain this state?
Well for a start - you are already in it. That is all there is.
And to realise that just requires - unconditional awareness
- In Each Moment.
