Ramblings on Balance
The deep feeling of fulfilment will not be with us while we are out of
balance -- in any way.
The main thing that is in the way of that balance is our self-centeredness.
We are so self-centred that we do not realise just how self-centred we are.
We think the way we are, except for a few eccentrics, is the way to be.
Balance is a matter of each moment.
It is being fully present -- unconditionally. Very rare.
Most of the time we are in our mind -- without realising we are just in our
mind, and not in the present.
When we are present we will realise, for ourselves, that we are part of
everyone and everything, and everything and everyone is part of us.
And we will respond.
Responding to needs is not just giving money. When we see or read of
atrocities -- just taking time to feel what we are feeling is a
contribution.
Feeling part of what is going on is balance. For indeed, we are part of
everything that is going on. Everything. So any againstness is unjustified.
Totally. Whenever you feel against anyone or any action you are reacting to
that very place in yourself that you have not yet accepted.
So most of us are out of balance because of the proportion of imbalance of
what we take to what we give back. Just take a look at your life. Look at
the details of what you have been given. For instance, life -- from your
parents. And so on and so on. and what percentage are you putting back?
