A seemingly simple question - about a vast interwoven subject.
>Surely as an baby, the state is pure.
We are all pure -everything is - at a certain level.
It is the other levels that are the 'fun.'
>when a baby is still forming?
We are all still forming - one way or the other.
Let us take a look at why we need to know - anything.
What does it have to do with living, in the moment? Nothing.
"Take no thought of the morrow..."
"Every second is the first second of your life."
When wanting to know is out of pure curiosity we are expanding.
When it is out of fear, wanting to change the way it is in the moment, it is
contraction; the will; a choice; a demand.
When we attempt to force change through the perspective of the distortion of
the conditioned mind, will, there will be dire consequences.
When we allow 'life' to flow through/with us, with gratefulness, and sharing
with other's, there is a very pleasant feeling.
Of course we want to feel good - or at least better, but the path to that
state is through the unconditional moment - living and experiencing,
unconditionally, the moment, just as it. How can we 'manufacture' happiness
when the people who programmed our minds are not happy. They cannot even
make themselves happy. They cannot tell us because they do not know. If they
did know they would be a living example - as in some of the Sufi ways, they
would not need to teach, we would absorb through their example.
Take a look at the possibility that everything is for us.
We are experiencing whatever we are experiencing in the moment, because that
is what we need to experience in the moment, because we have not yet
balanced that aspect of ourselves. Just take it as a theory anyway, and
experiment with that possibility.
Our view of life is through gross ignorance - on practically all levels.
We assume we can 'conquer nature.' Not doing too well in that department are
we. We are living longer, but for most people, most of the time, it is just
longer to be in misery.
We 'save' premature babies - without even considering the consequences -
because we are not interested so much in the baby - we just want what we
want. Our neurotic way. Now!
As we keep saying, life has a flow.
Flow with it and you are having a great time.
Fight the flow, and you are in pain.
Many years ago, in San Francisco, I had a series of deep tissue 'Rolfings.'
Even the term sounds painful doesn't it. Some of them with Ida Rolf herself.
Bless her. That was a trip!
Here is the point: when the session starts it can be very, very painful.
The practitioner is digging deep into the connective tissue - in order to
break down the restricting structure that has built up through tension
created through unpleasant experiences over the years.
I used to do that every day with one of 'my' children.
After a while, with some awareness, the pain starts to dissipate.
If you mention to the practitioner that it is now more bearable they will
tell you that they are pushing in just as hard, but now you are not
resisting. Pain is resistance - on every level. If you 'allow' the pressure
it becomes just a sensation, then pleasure. Takes a bit of practice though!
Next thing. Karma. "As ye sow, so ye shall reap." Maybe it is true.
Maybe beings come into this dimension in order to 'burn off' past
unconscious actions; or to experience situations that will expand their
consciousness. What difference does it make? It is what it is.
Here is a consideration: If it is Karma - is it theirs? Yours? Or both?
And does it matter anyway? It is the way it is.
There are many new breakthroughs in the study of the mind.
At one time scientists were absolutely sure that once the brain was formed,
in childhood, it was downhill from there - because the brain cells died and
the brain could not renew or transform itself. Now we know differently.
We used to think the planet was flat as well. Sometime in what we call the
future people will be wondering how we could have been so unaware of how
things really are.
All things being equal, they are not equal. The mind likes to think it is in
control - so it reduce everything to the size it can handle. The mind cannot
handle what is bigger than the mind. Consciousness can envelope the mind,
but the mind is not big enough to encompass the vast simplicity of
So don't unnecessarily complicate your life, let it all go.
Stop holding - any ideas, or anything or, and live in the moment.
"As a little child."
something to share - an aspect of what we call reality.
A friend of ours popped into my mind;
She has a young son who has a disability that affects his immune system.
This is some of what came....
Many years ago I met a woman who had an accident and became bedridden.
She was told that she would never be able to walk again. She asked the
doctors for an illustration of the damaged part of her body, and meditated
on that damaged part. After some time she could walk again.
She wrote a book called: "Don't Push the River."
Some years ago when I was giving talks in New York to people who were HIV
positive I met a man who had contracted a brain disintegrating disease from
which no one had ever lived longer than three months. His brain did
disintegrate, then grew again. He has X-Rays to prove it.
A friend was the first documented person to go from HIV positive to HIV
And people who finished a longer workshop and found that a diagnosed tumor
And so on.
We do create reality - but it is not easy to understand.
We could just call it the placebo effect. Whatever we call it, and despite
traditional science saying it is impossible, and the Christian church
calling it 'the work of the Devil' - these things do happen.
What I am attempting to share is almost impossible to the conditioned mind.
When I use certain words the mind jumps to what it interprets as the meaning
and either agrees or disagrees. So nothing new is realised.
So here is an experiment for you to try. For most people it is almost
impossible to do the whole thing 'in the head' so best to do it physically.
Sit down in front of largish table.
The table needs to completely clear of all objects.
Now imagine - the table is totally covered with a deep layer of very fine
transparent talcum powder.
Now imagine that the talcum powder is charged with static electricity and is
floating above the surface of the table and is creating a fine mist.
Now imagine that there are small areas in that mist that are more dense.
As the whole area is interconnected, if one of these small dense areas is
disturbed it will affect all of the mist.
Getting it? There is only one. When one is affected, we all are. If one
person in the family is upset, everyone in the family is affected - in fact,
everyone everywhere is affected to some extent.
If we have been told a disease is incurable, then it is. There are studies
to show that we have to be very careful about to whom we go to for
Nothing is is impossible. Nothing. Negative thinking is handicapping - and
so is positive thinking. Opposites are always based on each other.
So how about acknowledging our preferences, and just being open - to any
same 'category.' In fact, there is a vast variation in levels of awakened
(It could be said that we go through the 'levels' - in order to 'understand'
others who have not yet realised these other levels - so we can share more
effectively - through our own actual experience. Empathy. There is no such
thing as an accident.)
At sometime, more mature people let go of the toys that were so precious to
them when they were younger. And some people do not mature, and still hold
on to those toys and other shallow and unessential subjects. No worries.
Most people are so conditioned, and insulated, they do not even realise that
there is anything more than what they have been told, so are not open to
hear, let alone experience anything outside of the 'normal' experience.
It is my experience that we are all born with 'curiosity.' It is stronger in
some than others. In some it is heavily trampled in childhood and never
awakens strong enough for the person to look at themselves, others, and life
in a curios way.
In others the curiosity is strong, but is resisted - in order to stay
And just a few have the realisation that - that is what life is about.
Life is not just about surviving and staying safe, it is about living this
curiosity - and living. LIVING.
There is change happening - on may levels.
Sensitivity is part of that change.
To many it seems that music is getting louder and more aggressive, and the
movies, TV shows and games more violent. They are. And, as you are reading
this it means you are getting more sensitive as well.
People who are still holding the old, in any form, will feel more and more disturbed by the information being
shared. We all 'gravitate' to what we need for 'our next step.' Then our
limited free will has the choice to say yes or no. The same opportunity will
keep repeating itself until stop holding and allow the change. Trouble is,
the longer we leave it the more unpleasant the situation becomes.
Change is happening. The less we hold the more smooth is the transition.
Nothing more exciting than the unexpected.
Have fun with the changes...
“The way to truth is a pathless path”. - J. Krishnamurti
If we just take what J.Krishnamurti said as 'The Way' then we are climbing
into another (sinking) 'spiritual lifeboat.'
And if we don't listen to what he suggests then we are swimming upstream,
and ignoring a thrown lifebelt.
It is never one or the other - it is both.
The most efficient way to awaken to another level of consciousness is to
listen to everyone, and if you are not sure, experiment for yourself.
If it clicks, on a deep level, it is yours. If not, just another theory.
If what they are sharing is true, their experience can 'save' you years -
but only if it is your experience. Believing is less advantageous than not
believing. If you believe then you believe you have 'got it' - and you
haven't - you are just believing you have - so you don't continue being
One one level it is true that it is a 'pathless path.' We are all unique.
And on another level we are all connected, so anything that one of us
processes becomes available to all of us.
Scientist tell us that one of the reasons we are more 'advanced' than
animals is that we can communicate with each other, and thus build on each
others experience. At the very least, another's experience can show us what
does not work - so we don't have to waste time experimenting with it.
Although, wasn't the journey, in itself, fun anyway?
If you had not been total in the 'Maya' you might still be stuck -
just 'believing' that you 'should' be on a 'pathless path.' Now you know,
for yourself. It is 'yours.' Congratulations. Now you can share with others
So some gratefulness is appropriate? Even for those that 'lead you astray?'
Some of those teachers were sincere, and can be respected for that. Some of
them were fun anyway. And some of that paraphernalia - beautiful of its own
[What about] channellings?
The old saying: "Don't throw the baby out with the bath water."
Channellings and readings can be, and often are, very powerful.
If the person is sensitive and experienced they may be 'tuning in' to a
'deeper' level of reality than you are, on that subject at least. They may
tune in to a part of you that you have not yet contacted at that time, and
stimulate it. Just by them uttering some words, the vibration may awaken
that level in you. It is not always the words, but the vibration.
When an experienced and talented reader opens themselves they often connect
with very high levels of 'sensitivity.' And more.
Plus, some psychics can read what we are calling 'the future.'
It may be that there is no such thing as the future. It may be our
misreading of reality.
In my life I have had many astounding readings.
The first one, when I was in my early twenties, accurately predicted the
very minute details of an event that was totally unlikely - twenty years
after the reading! To the very year.
(Some of the events predicted have yet to reach the time scale - in my early
eighties they said.)
So when it 'just happens' I open myself on every level when receiving a
reading. Who knows when we are not seeing a blind spot?
I still receive readings from Kira, Kristine, and sometimes Sophia.
[What about] Mantras?
Mantras can be very powerful. Very.
The principle is that a person who is more awake, and skilled in that way,
tunes into you and devises a vibrational frequency that will stimulate a
level in you with which you do not yet have a solid contact. The words just
create the frequency. Mantras are a technique. And some techniques can work
for some, and not for others.
(Then we get to the level of the placebo effect - and that is a vast subject
in itself. If we are totally total, then we can create our reality
consciously - instead of unconsciously - as we do now.)
Some one writes:
>I’m still getting anxiety thoughts especially when I’m in the city, crowded
>places or watching a movie, but it all disappears when I go to the forests and
>mountains or when I'm sitting in silence at home.
We you have it in the crowds, then you have it.
And not until then as you are still reliant on the outside circumstances.
As we awaken to 'deeper' levels we do become more sensitive. Very.
Situations that were fun at one time can even become painful.
And, when true balance is realised there is never againstness, or judgment.
But, as you have found out, you may find yourself spending more time in
nature, alone, and with a few people who are more in tune with a deeper part
of themselves. Some even retire to a cave. Hard to find one with hot running
water though. Maybe by a hot spring.

How much in the moment we are when we talk to each other.
As we keep saying, it is rare to experience anyone totally in the moment -
ever. We usually assign our actions, speech, thoughts to the automatic part
of our brain. We just take phrases and clichés from the data bank of our
memories, and string them together into a sentence. So rare we are really
there in a unique creative moment.
I know you may not agree, so I suggest you carry out an experiment.
For one day, or at least an hour or so, be really, really present with every
single world you utter. Every syllable would be better. Say, everything you
say. Nothing automatic. Not a single cliché.
With our children we are usually even more remiss. It is rare we actually
speak to them as a human being. We forget what it was like when we were
young. We do not treat them as equals. Yet it is very rare that children are
not more intelligent than their parents! All they really need from us is our
experience - in order to learn what not to do, the way we have done it!
Try it out. Be absolutely creatively present in everything you do, say, and
think - even for just a short while. It is exhausting to start with, then
after a while you can enter into a whole new level of living.
Where to start.
We are all one. Everything is one. There is only one.
We/everything is connected - one.
Every single thought radiates. Everything is radiating - constantly.
Everything, and everyone, is effecting everything, and everyone, constantly.
Every time we think of someone, or they think of us,
we are contacting, connecting. Negative or positive.
Do you sometimes have thoughts of someone flashing into your mind?
Could be they are thinking of you.
Do you sometimes feel uplifted - for no apparent reason?
Could be someone is thinking of you positively.
Do you sometimes feel depressed - for no apparent reason?
Could be someone is thinking of you negatively.
Every action has an equal and positive reaction.
"As you sow, so ye shall reap."
People often flash into my mind. When I tune in it is as if I am with them.
As I go around and see things people have bought for me - so many things,
my 'mind' goes out to them in gratitude.
In that moment they are being blessed. And so am I.
As we keep saying, there is so much more to life than we are realising.
Life is nothing like we think it is. In our ignorance we are treading on our
own toes - and complaining about not being able to move ahead.
The intelligent, and most productive way to live, is, in curiosity,
and disconnecting from thinking we know - anything.
"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." William Shakespeare
In a way, I feel that way about all my life - it never happened - even
When I remember our time together, in New York, and the adventures we had in
different parts of the world, and the chats we had together, then there is a
certain... nostalgia? But I know things have changed radically for me, and
being in New York in the state I am in now would be a nightmare!
Even going into the little local market town is overwhelming. I only go out
to purchase practical items, get back as soon as I can, and have a great
relief at returning to the property. I now understand why people go to the
mountains when they reach a certain state, and do not welcome people who are
at a primary state of consciousness.
Although, I find my love and caring for people even stronger than ever.
I delight in people, find them fascinating, and in a strange way, feel
closer than ever.
Since the touring has stopped 'something has happened.' Can't really say
what, but it is as if it could not happen while I was travelling. Even the
periods in between, while on the property, it felt that 'the something'
could not happen - because I had to retain a certain level in order to be
able to go out again. My body is much fitter as well.
The world seems more and more like a dream - most of it, even though they
may not realise it, like people are in a a nightmare. And I feel sure that
it is not just me being more sensitive, I think the world really is rapidly
deteriorating. The noise, the speed, the insensitivity. Whew!
Do I miss speaking? I do not miss speaking in the old way. Except for
isolated instances I was always speaking at an attenuated level.
Although, even though I did not speak at an elevated level, I could feel the
energy flow through at a potent healing frequency - whether what I saying
was being understood at a deep level or not. Same when writing to IML.
I cannot say I miss it, and, I loved the contact with people - especially
seeing them in their joy as they transformed. A privilege.
Very occasionally, someone who lives locally comes round for a chat.
Again, having to modify, because they are 'not ready' to hear beyond a
certain point, and I do enjoy sharing. As I connect into a person, a flow
comes through me and I get uplifted - like a rush of lovingness. I have that
with even when a thought of someone passes through. (I will write more about
that later - something that was stimulated by your love and generosity to
If a person came along who was as open I was, when I went to India, then I
could imagine 'passing on' my experiences at a deeper level, but now, to go
on saying the same thing, even though the moment and the person is unique in
each moment, is no longer appropriate for me.
Writing... is, for now, the appropriate way of sharing. Not so much the
world event links, but the information that flows through. And, I can feel
that starting to fade.
What next? I have absolutely no idea.
In the reality of the world I am living in most of the time now,
there is no next.
I feel this place I am living on/in is a blessing. I love it here. I love
the land, the trees and the animals and birds. I feel privileged to be
sharing this space with them. A lot of 'work' to keep it maintained,
and it feels perfect.
I send you much love and gratitude dear friend.
It is lovely to feel your availableness to me.
these things. Some of the latest documentaries that are being shown on
cable, and even the BBC and other national channels are very revealing.
And, most controversial subjects are still being ignored or hidden by the
(The Daily Show with Jon Stewart has been voted by viewers as the most
honest, and the most funny news reporting.)
Of course, we can never be sure, about anything, but reading and watching
masses amounts of information on the web, it does seem that many of these
things have/are taking place, and there are no explanations being given, and
nothing seems to be being done about them.
Trillions of dollars have gone missing from both the Iraq war funds
and the US treasury. And there is absolutely no account of where the
billions of dollars have gone from the banks bailout money. And the bonuses
given to the people who have brought about the banks collapses continue to
be awarded. Isn't that amazing?
Not only is Obama not keeping his promises about change, he is ratifying and
supporting many of the illegal things that Bush and his regime instigated:
supporting the wars; wire tapping; protecting the torture done by Americans;
instigating laws to limit free speech; continuing to send money to Israel -
even though they have admitted to have, illegally, nuclear weapons, and it
is proved by the UN that the Zionists have broken most of the rules agreed
There does not seem much doubt about many of conspiracies that are being
reported: Pearl Harbour; the ship Liberty; 9/11; the Kennedys, Martin
Luther, and many more 'significant' deaths.
And the controversies about:
climate change; pandemics; vaccines; the power of political lobbies;
politicians expenses; the threat to Iran; Monsanto and GM foods; the lack of
treatment for people who have served in the military returned with mental
and physical damage; depleted uranium, magnesium, and other toxic substances
being used in war; the ridiculousness of drug laws; mafia; corruption - in
almost every sector - including religion.
And so on, and so on.
I think history says that eventually there will be an uprising of 'the
people' - then the whole things starts all over again, only with different
set of people dictating things.
Once again, a reminder to look into our own lives to check at what level of
truth we are living. And not to take it seriously.
they call 'my negative views on relationships.' Very sensitive territory for
most people. They do not want to know the facts about their relationship.
Someone else reminded me that it took years for them to realise, that what
they thought was my negative attitude, was actually their negative attitude.
Now that they have realised what I was attempting to share, they see it is
obvious, and agree with me totally- although still do not feel able to live
If you go to a zoo you will find most of the animals are neurotic. They
pace. Despite being safe, fed, clean, taken care of, they are not 'happy.'
If you go into the wild and see similar animals you will be surprised at how
different they are from the ones you saw in the zoo.
The difference?: freedom. If we do not feel free we do not feel fulfilled.
Our mind says we want to be safe, secure, and have life predictable, but if
we are not free, we are not happy.
(Not going into to it here - freedom is not so much to do with physical
circumstances, but of the mind.)
If we do not feel free we feel compromised - and that eventually leads to
resentment - which is then projected on to the outside.
If we are not happy we do not want to take responsibility for the fact - we
want to blame something or someone. We do not want to see that maybe the
situation we have put ourselves in is not suitable for us. We hate change.
What we want - is what we want. We want to have the situation the way we
want it. If we have got ourselves into a situation that is not working, we
want to change it - by changing the other person. Stupid. But then, on the
whole, as a species, we are stupid. Very.
To me, I love, love. I love harmony. I love to see people genuinely happy -
especially with each other. Two, or more, people living in love and harmony,
seems to me one of the delights of being a human being.
And how very, very rare that is. How asleep we are - driven by our basic
instincts, and society, to get a mate, and mate. I will not go into it again
here - but the most of the process is chemical driven. How asleep we are.
So is it possible to live in harmony with another person - without
compromise? Absolutely. And it is rare. You have to persevere - with
You always draw to yourself the partner you need.
We are always drawing to our selves the circumstance we need to evolve.
Its amazing - when you stop complaining, you stop getting situations to
complain about. We think in terms of cause and effect, and in fact it is the
other way around.
This isn't strictly true, but near enough for this illustration:
When you awaken to the level of consciousness where you no longer need
another person in your life to fill in your gaps, to make you happy, you
will meet someone who no longer needs someone in their life to make them
Suggestion: See if you will take out some time to 'evaluate' your life and
its circumstances, in the most objective way you can. Maybe find a
professional person who can help you see yourself and your circumstances
more clearly. Then see what can be adjusted to bring more happiness to
yourself - and those around you.
Recap. I love people being together in love and harmony. Love it.
What I share about relationships are facts - and they are shared in order to
help to reach this wonderful stage of living in love and harmony. The old
way is not working - and never has. Time for change? At least in attitude.
Keep it light...
of the body (Paul's body). It will sometimes work full on for up to eight hours, non-stop.
And occasionally, some days, it does not want to even move.
'Mentally' something is going on. Motivation is fading fast, and what is
called 'reality' is not looking at all real. Priorities have changed - the
'important' now feels unimportant; the 'essential' now unessential.
It is as though there is yet another depth to 'seeing.'
The old illusionary standards of seeing have long faded, yet the process
continues. All the things that were were once taken for granted have
dramatically transmuted, and new 'stages' of this process still continue.
Feels as though there is a something about to happen - a 'standing right on
the edge of' an unreal reality.
You mentioned that researching the cameras will help to keep the mind
I am aware of what was once referred to as my mind is indeed changing.
So I do attempt to keep it stimulated. You mentioned looking at woman to
keep it stimulated. Doesn't happen the same way now. I still look, but
almost instantly the 'seeing' goes beyond the physical, and into a deeper
level the of the being. Happens with everyone really -- experiencing
multiple levels of them.
I have always had some sort of 'X-ray vision.' It is not physical, but as
though I can see who they have been, who they are, and, if they continue in
the same way, who they are going to be - and who they really are / are not.
It is as though 'I' am 'experiencing' two main states:
The state of the mind, and 'the other.'
Both seem to be there at the same time, it is that one fades into the
background, leaving the other one most prevalent.
On my own the 'other' is there most of the time.
(I do realise that I am using single quotes a lot. It is because there isn't
really a suitable word or description, and I don't feel like going into a
long explanation - for something that cannot be explained by language.)
The mind is the practical. Nothing to do with reality really - it just
thinks the practical is, and is important. Cute.
'The Other' is the most interesting - and indescribable. It is not bliss.
Bliss is a 'something' and this 'state' is not a something.
I can only explain it at the moment as a 'not-something.'
In a doco on Opium, an addict was asked what it is like when they get
'high.' They described the sensation as absolute relaxation. No worries. No
anything. They just wanted to lie down, and be. Could be called 'peace' I
A saying attributed to Lao Tzu:
"Don't run when you can walk; don't walk when you can stand; don't stand
when you can sit; don't sit when you can lie down."
I hope you connect with the less obvious meaning of that.
In this state there is no real awareness of a 'self.'
There is a self, and there isn't. The 'is' is so much one with everything
that calling it a 'self' isolates it from... everything that is / is it.
And it is very, very ordinary.
That sort of thing...
