Of course I understand what it is about, and, I have always found cosmetic
makeup a rather strange phenomenon, and sort of disgusting.
Seeing those lovely eyes shrouded in a yucky Black petroleum product.
And just even the thought of kissing lips covered in a Red sticky pigment!

I have seen lots of it in African tribes - and Hollywood.
African tribes are a just bit more understandable - not much else to do
really - although, wearing lip plates and neck rings all day long!

And on stage and in films - where the image needs to be enhanced beyond the
natural in order to appear natural in the finished product.
Sort of understandable in Hollywood as well - where almost nothing is real.

So what is going on with the rest of females - and some males!
On one level, in theory at least, it is about women attracting men.
Although, most men I have talked to do not like it - accept at a distance.
(In most cases it is the opposite in the animal world - in order to attract
the female the male has to be more flamboyant.)

And the fundamental level? - just the opposite to what I have been
attempting to share - to be yourself, and happy being so.
So in most cases it is a mask in order to hide who you really are.
(And often thick enough to peel off and use again.)

And full of toxic substances. Patches are used for painkillers, and to stop
smoking - the skin absorbs. Check out on the web the ingredients of
cosmetics - if you dare. Same with sunscreen.

In order to float delightful through life there is a principle that needs to
be understood. What you project is what you get back.
Be unreal, and that is what you get back - your reflection.

To make that more clear: When you scowl at someone it creates a certain
atmosphere - which is projected out - and reflected back. Same with a smile.
Try it. Smile at someone who looks unhappy and you may be surprised at the
transformation. My mother does it all the time.

I know, I know, I have heard all those excuses - over and over.
Be honest - what are you doing! To realise your freedom you have to set
yourself free from all this nonsense. Dare - dare to be yourself.

If people are turned off - wonderful - they are not healthy people to have
around. The saying: 'You are judged by the company keep' is only part of the
story - you are infected by the people you spend time with.'

And unpleasant people infect strongly. Put a drop of clear water in a glass
of Black ink and you will not see any difference. Put a drop of Black ink
into a glass of clear water and the results are obvious.
Every, every, every single thing is affecting you every moment.

Same with taking drugs. Until you are ready to be yourself, you don't even
know who you are attempting to change.
When consciousness is your priority (rather than 'looking good') you are
already well on the way to - realising that you are as free as you let
yourself be.
