I realise that this is not very clear. It is not flowing.
So I have also recorded something about it -
and that is not very clear either!
As it will take a little while to send out the recording,
I thought I would send this in the meantime.
-------------------------------------------
It can happen. One moment absolute clarity is there, the next, gone.
The usual response is some sadness, and “I am grateful for the experience;
it was lovely while it was there; and as I know it is still there
somewhere,
I feelI know it will return.” And very occasionally it is not so pleasant
-
and goes in the opposite direction. I have only known of this once.
Not pretty.
Some people on IML have been reporting having a brief sensation of being
awake. It can be just a glimpse, a few minutes, hours, days, or even
months.
(Many people have the awakening experience in the Satori Group.)
Then it is gone. Suggestion: however brief, be grateful.
After waking up,
it does happen that a disconnection from the realisation happens.
And in a way, unless being grateful, and very alert,
you can feel worse after being ‘There’ than before you had the realisation
-
because now you know how wonderful it feels to be free.
How come the disconnection from being awake?
Many ways. Sometimes subtle, others more obvious. Have to be alert.
I suppose the overal description could be called: ‘Identification.’
Another, resistance to what is. Also, ‘taking a position - being a ‘self’
again.
In other words, identifying with a separate self rather than allowing
the realisation of being one with everything and everyone.
A classical Eastern description of the three stages of awaking is
Raj, Thomas and Satva. Could be translated as Enthusiasm to share;
despondency at no one listening; and Balance.
It is after the second that disconnection can most likely happen.
You see, even in ‘the state’ if you do not tune in to the other,
you do not realise that everyone is not seeing/experiencing what you are.
You forget - that you have been just as asleep as they now appear to be.
So ‘taking a position’ happens and you again start identifying with a
‘self.'
Also, jealousy is one of the last ones to go - and can be one of the first
to return. Again, just resistance to what is.
And although very rare, there is another - very unpleasant phenomenon.
Again from the East, it is said that three other states maybe evoked:
Massive amount of Sexual Energy; Insanity; Death.
There are stories about a famous guru who devoted his life
to going around mental institutions to find people who seem to be insane
and help them back to their realisation.
The theory is, as the energy arises, it passes through all 'The Chakras’
and highly activates them. If all the centres are clear, wonderful,
but ‘if seeds are still there’ they may be activated - even stronger than
before.
So if there is some imbalance still not being identified and accepted,
they may not only reactivate, but very strongly - because so much energy
is passing though them. It can be so strong as to be violently dangerous -
to the person having the experience, and those around. Insanity.
So the suggestion is - be even more aware, and take care of your
imbalances.
Once again to mention - one excellent way for this to take place is -
contribute - make sure you are contributing as much as possible
in every way possible. And include yourself in your generosity as well!
More later.
