Yesterday I had an interesting chat with a friend
who spent many years living closely with Maharishi Mahesh
Yogi.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maharishi_Mahesh_Yogi>.

I like what I hear about Maharishi. Extraordinary.
He seems to be one of the few well-known Eastern Gurus
who is in a deep understanding contact with the Western mind.
(And does not take things seriously.)

The conversation was so interesting I really should have recorded it.
I have recorded a summary of some of it - which we will post later.
And I may also do another one on some of these these other topics.

One of the interesting things I found was that, when I described my
experiences,
he had an Eastern Spiritual Term for it. Confirmation.

One of the other interesting topics was Karma.
I was describing my experience of feeling that whatever anyone is
experiencing,
it is exactly what they need - even the seeming suffering of what looks
like the innocent,
and at the same time, often finding myself deeply sobbing at their
situation.

So one level, knowing they are experiencing exactly what they need,
and at the same time feeling deeply for them.

(Alan emailed me the other day and said: "I know you are now not into
caring.”  Not so Alan. Caring deeply is there - just not concerned, as I seem to
know that,  whatever is happening, it is not only exactly what we need,
but, in another state, we designed it that way.)

Might be an interesting experiment for you all?
Imagine that whatever is your life situation at this moment,
it is a consequence of something you did/did not do in a past life,
and you are now giving yourself the opportunity to balance it.

Another fun topic was the stages of awakening.
He has also met someone who has been in the ‘physical’ presence of Babaji -
who is not manifest in the physical, but can manifest a body
when someone is in a high enough vibrational state to be able to be in
this presence.

He has also met a being who was over three hundred years old.
He also met his eleventh descendant grandchild.

Time to open out ourselves to possibilities
beyond our religious and scientific conditioning?

He also told me about another very ancient being - who is still in a
physical body,
who comes to visit this area as she says it has a very high vibration.
Our experience also.
