problems, it is like each are in a big barrel. In the barrel is their
personality, character, addictions, behavioural patterns, problems, past,
complaints, conditioning. They are all in the barrel - and if any one of
these things is addressed, it makes no difference as, as soon as one thing
is addressed, up pops the next. That is how it is in the barrel.
So how to get out of the barrel? Well we can pop out - have a Satori.
(The goose is out!) This can happen through a few different ways.
One is just plain old realisation, not holding, no conditions, and letting
it happen.

Another is seeing that we are part of everything, and everything his part
of us, and until we address this, we all have the illusion/experience of
being in the barrel.
As I see it, having the personal, or any personal desire, as the main
focus, just keeps recycling misery. As we allow ourselves to realise this,
and the focus changes to having the priority to
every-moment-unconditional-consciousness - we have the realisation that we
are as free as we will let ourselves be.
In practical terms I see this as realising that we need to put our
priority beyond just our own personal desires. For one thing, personal
desires do not get us out of the barrel. Another thing is that until we
love and care for something/someone at least as much as ourselves - we are
in the barrel.
And it is not just an idea, or something we can just ‘do’ - it needs to be
a realisation - from the heart. Love and acceptance for ourselves, then
sharing.
Simple really.
