When Clare and I arrived in Kenya in the sixties, to do charity work,
after brutally ejecting the British, Kenya was just getting used to
governing themselves.

The event was called 'Uhur' - one Swahili word for freedom.
When in crowds they chanted another word for freedom: 'Haram-bay!'

And were they/are they free? No.
The new regime was even more brutal and corrupt that the British!
Just a few politicians and business people cheating 'the people.'

And are 'the people' innocent? Probably not.
If they were in power most would be doing the same thing.
For ever - nations, tribes, families, religions have, and are, fighting
each other. Are you?

So is greed and fight the 'basic nature' of the human?
I don't think so - I think deeper down, in all, there is empathy, love,
caring.

So how do we get to that part?
In ourselves - watching for any signs of greed and fight, and not
supporting it - by encouraging or suppressing it.

In one unexplainable way, there is nothing 'out there' - it is all 'in
there.'

And:  "When you see the outer as the inner, the inner as the outer, the up
as the down, and the down as the up, when you see a woman as a man, and a
man as a woman - when thine eyes be single, then will thy body be full of
light." That sort of thing.

Attempting to describe to someone how I am feeling these days, this came:

'Out of the body experience - while still anchored in the body.'

Still playing with adjusting.
