Want to be happy?
Want to enjoy almost every moment of your life?
Try this...
Take one day out of your life to be absolutely aware...
of, if you are saying/being yes, or no.
Not just the words, but your actions, tone of voice, body posture,
facial expression, thought process. Yes.
Best to get some assistance.
Ask your partner, work associates, friends - to watch you carefully,
and point out when you are not a yes to any situation. Complaints.
Zen Story.
The Emporia's chief Samurai came to a Zen Master,
and in an arrogant manner asked:
"Tell me, is there such a thing as Heaven and Hell?"
The Zen Master looked at the Samurai and replied:
"You are the Emporia's chief Samurai? I am surprised,
you seem such a stupid fellow."
Enraged, the Samurai started to draw his sword.
At this the Master said: "Here opens the gates of Hell."
Seeing the Master's composure the Samurai had a realisation,
bowed, and put away his sword.
Then Master then said: "Here opens the gates of heaven."
Try a day of Yes - and change your life.
