I have been teaching a small group for several years the principals of being in the Now and found that the greatest obstacle is the ego mind wanting to understand and make sense of the moment. In the book Prophet or Madman, I wrote about this interesting phenomenon. Until we are awake we must engage the ego mind to work with us and then at some point we must move beyond its limitation. While we are looking and analyzing we can never be fully present. Thanks for sharing.
