The Way I see it 3.0...
Gratitude -continued from Paul Lowe's blog
Gratitude is one of the most powerful energies in the universe.
(Even stronger than compound interest.)
If it is 'over the top' then it is demeaning of the self -- just a nice
balance is appropriate.
If we look at the state of gratitude in terms of frequency it is a high
vibration -- and nourishing -- both to the giver and the receiver.
Maybe even more for the giver.
Tune in to it -- can you feel it? Think of a time you have shared or given
something to someone -- doesn't it feel good? And so do they.
(When you reach the stage of giving more than you are taking you are in
heaven upon earth.)
My mother and I both see this in the same way -- we share whenever we can.
If we are grateful -- we say so. If we feel something for someone we tell
them. If we find something beautiful and/or attractive we share our
feelings.
My mother, Elise, 99 this year, says people look so unhappy -- so she smiles
to them -- and nearly always they smile back. Elise feels good, they feel
better, and they are both radiating a positive frequency out into the world.
Please do not underestimate how energy frequencies radiate.
When I stopped travelling I wanted to stay in touch with Elise as much as I
could. Elise said she was sure she could not handle a computer so I asked a
very dear friend, who has access to expertise in the area, how I could set
up a simple phone that displays a picture.
My friend responded by sending down to Elise their computer expert to set up
a brand new Apple lap top computer with a wireless connection.
We now see and speak to each other for an hour each Sunday.
She loves it. I love it. My friend is very happy to have set this up.
And each of us are radiating gratitude -- so everyone benefits.
Even if you just think gratitude you feel better, and, in a way you may not
understand, even though they may not be aware of the process, the person to
whom you are sending the gratitude is benefitted. We all are.
(And just a small caution -- the same thing happens with negative thoughts
-- everyone involved, and not involved, is affected.)
So just for one day, try it. Keep remembering to disconnect from those
persistent thoughts. Do not deny the negative ones, just do not give energy
and support to them, and bring your feelings to anything for which you can
feel gratitude.
