I had one of the 2 largest practices in Los Angeles. And somewhere in my 12^th year of practice a few strange things happened. I was awakened in the middle of the night by a bright light. I opened my eyes to see what it was. It wasn’t anything seemingly spiritual or metaphysical, it was just the lamp next to my bed turned itself on. I had that lamp for a good 10 years, it had never turned itself on before. And at the same time it felt as if there were people in my home, which is a very uncomfortable feeling, shall I say. So I got up bravely with a knife, a can of pepper spray and my Doberman pincher and I went hunting through the house. I couldn’t find anyone, so I went back to sleep telling myself it had to have been my imagination.

 

But that Monday when I went in to my office, 7 of my patients independently of each other told me that they felt somebody in the room with us, the same way I felt people in my home that same weekend the night I was awakened. Of course, this was my twelfth year in practice and no one had ever said anything like that to me before so 7 people in one day you would think would have gotten my attention.  But, as you also pointed out in your question, other patients were telling me they could feel my hands before I touched them. I obviously didn’t believe them so I made them close their eyes and lie down on the chiropractic table and while they had their eyes closed I would stand anywhere from 1 or 2 or 3 meters away from them and hold my hands aimed in different directions and they could tell me if I was aiming towards their ankles or their fingers or their head. I would see tiny little muscles in their face move involuntarily when I would do this. I would see their fingers and their feet move involuntarily. This was the beginning of recognizing that something different had occurred. In other words, I went home on a Friday thinking I was a chiropractor, I came in on a Monday and I was something else. My parents had always told me that I was something else, but I have a really good feeling this was probably not what they had in mind when they said it.

2.     You have a stunning story about the way you found out about this gift. Can you tell us what happened with the Jewish gipsy?

I went down to the beach one day and I was introduced to a lady whom I called a Jewish Gypsy. Not because she was really a gypsy, but she was a very sweet, funny Jewish woman that lived on the beach. And when she met me told me she did a certain kind of work that she felt that I could benefit from. She explained this work was designed to reconnect us more fully with the Universe using a system of what she called “axiatonal lines”. This system is designed to tie us in more fully, more completely with the multi-dimensional Universe.  I listened to her tell me about it, I asked her how much money she wanted for it and she said she wanted $333 – which I thought was just a ridiculously high amount of money to spend on something so seemingly ethereal, especially with some woman I had never met before who was sitting on the beach in a folding chair in front of a card table.  So I thanked her very much and started to leave and she wrote something down on a piece of paper and said here – you can read about this in a book called “The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch” by Dr. J.J. Hurtak.  So I took the piece of paper and put it in my pocket and left, having not intention of ever paying any further attention to it again. And yet, I kept thinking about it and thinking about it and thinking about it, so finally one day I found myself with an extra 10 minutes at lunch and I thought I’d quickly run into a book store and skim through that little Chapter 3.1.7. Well, the more I read the more confused I became, the more intrigued I became and finally I decided just to call the woman and let her do the work.

 

So on the first day I went there and she placed me on a massage table lying down on my back, shoes off… dimmed the lights put on new-age tinkling music and took her fingers and started drawing or tracing little line patterns on my body. All the while I was thinking to myself I cannot believe I gave this woman $333 to draw lines on my body with her finger tips and I experienced nothing I was aware of. It turned out though that this was a two-day process so I had to go back the next day for part two where she did the same thing. After it was over, I went home, and that was the night that I woke up because the lamp next to my bed turned itself on. And that was the beginning of my journey in to discovering a new level of healing and what science is now showing us is also a new level of human evolution, which I call The Reconnection and Reconnective Healing.

 

3.     Why do you think that this has happened to you in particular and not to someone else?

 Oh God, Lord only knows. I’ve thought about this over and over again and if I were sitting up in a cloud somewhere looking down on all the people in the Universe and trying to decide who to give this wonderful gift to, I don’t think that I would be looking through all the religious and the holy and the spiritual people who’ve given up their worldly goods and completely overlooking or bypassing them and pointing out me. You know, here’s this guy – well let’s face it –I don’t have the typical spiritual background or personality. I’m not patient, I enjoy a sarcastic sense of humor, and I  enjoy 2, 3 or 4 drinks – and that’s only if we run out of alcohol at the end of 2, 3, or 4 drinks –I just like to have a good time. I don’t know that it would be me, my hair at that time was past my shoulders in length… so I would ask why me, why me? And the first answer that came to me was I seem to have the ability to take a subject such as this and even though I didn’t fully understand it, explain what I did understand from a point of integrity, honesty, just the truth of my experience saying what I do know and what I don’t know. And explain it in a way that people would listen. People who came from spiritual or metaphysical backgrounds, people who came from scientific or medical backgrounds – it didn’t seem to matter. Somehow I found a way to make something that seemed about as far fetched as possible, as plausible as possible. But further on in time I began to recognize that the things I thought were my weaknesses are really part of the perfectly designed gift. Because you see, if this level of healing was coming through someone who was a spiritual master living in a cave in a mountain top in Tibet, people would think they would have to change their lives to hit those levels of spiritual perfection before they were “worthy” enough to be given this same gift of healing. And the fact that this could come from me with all of my human frailties, weaknesses; well – it’s easy enough to point to me and say “If he can do it, then I can do it” and that’s part of the gift of this is recognizing that there’s nothing that we need to do to become worthy enough to be healers. There’s nothing we can do to become worthy enough to be a healer. Because we cannot become what we already are. We are already worthy enough by having been born. And we are here to learn to experience compassion and to experience compassion does not mean just for others, but for ourselves – with our own weaknesses, our own perceived failures. And in that true compassion then we also recognize that we can each of us access the zenith, access that peak point, because we are in our perfection, whether or not we always recognize that as being perfection.

 

4.     It seems that you’ve had some problems in the past which led to a deep depression. How did you succeed to overcome these difficult moments and to turn them into this spectacular revelation of your gifts?

Well, if we are speaking about “challenges” related to this I think you might be referencing when I talk about in the book that I was in a 6-year relationship which I thought was going to be the relationship of my life. We were at the point where we were planning to have children; we had even decided we wanted 2 children. Everything was in place except I felt that we argued just a little bit too much… little bit more than I thought was healthy to bring a child in to that relationship at that point so I suggested that we go to a relationship counselor. And I very carefully researched who the relationship counselors were, who were supposed to be good and I found one who I thought was wonderful. And we went to that counselor and I used to say I chose the wrong one. I used to say “And we went to that counselor and I chose the wrong.” And I said I chose the wrong one because instead of the relationship getting better, the relationship ended. Now, in retrospect there really are not mistakes. I didn’t choose the wrong one… I chose the right one the relationship was supposed to end. But you see I was so shaken when that relationship ended that I had physical difficulty actually picking up one foot in front of the next and walking from patient to patient. But I do realize that the relationship had to come to an end. Because if it didn’t, if I had those children, then I would have taken my every last penny to ensure that they were taken care of in the future. That they had money put away for their education, for their health and I would never have left or traveled the world the way I do now. I am on the road 45 weeks out of every year teaching this work. If I had children I wouldn’t’ have wanted to miss any part of their growing up – their first word, their first step.  I wouldn’t have allowed myself to have been away when they needed me emotionally – I wouldn’t have wanted to miss them, and I wouldn’t want them to have missed me. But, you see 6-months after the relationship broke up, the healings started. Suddenly as I’m doing this healing work in my practice, my chiropractic patients are starting to think that I’ve lost my mind. And you know, the way it looked from the outside I understand why they would think that. So my patients were leaving my practice… money was going down and down and down but my expenses were all staying the same. I had to live past pretty much my every penny that came in just to be able to eat or to be able to travel and teach this work. It wasn’t a change in my life that I had done for money. If I were doing this for money I would have stayed with the chiropractic. It was a change that I had no choice but to make because the part of me that was and is my truth and my essence would have been without integrity if I had done anything else. So you can say that the emotional shock in my life may have been one of the last things that opened the door for the healings to come through, and that the Universe saw to it that I was free of the responsibilities that would have inhibited me from being able to devote my life, to go out further and begin to teach this work day in and day out.

 

5.     Your latest book “The Reconnexion” talks about a new way of treatment through energetic frequencies that exist on our planet for the first time. What is concretely Reconnective Healing?

Reconnective Healing is a new level of healing that, according to the researches and scientists, may very well be here on the planet for the first time. Now of course scientists and researches are like the last people you would expect to make such a bold statement like this and I asked them when they said it, “how can you say something this strongly?” And they said, “well it really makes perfect sense if you just understand two basic concepts.” Concept A is that we are 4-dimensional beings. We exist in a 4-dimensional world of height, width, depth and time. And in Quantum Physics today they often illustrate that world as a bubble. They say so imagine that the wall, or the cell of the bubble, the outside of the bubble, is comprised of height, width, depth and time, and everything inside that bubble is energy. This has been our 4-dimensional existence from the beginning. Throughout this huge, vast, endless multi-dimensional Universe, we’ve just existed in this little bubble and everything inside the bubble has been energy, just as we’ve been taught in school – everything is energy. The healing techniques we’ve have had here, Reiki, Johrei, Jin Shin, QiGong, Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, XYZ, Quantum This, Mattress That – whatever we want to call them – have been different portions, subsets or fractions of energy. You access Reiki through a different technique then you access QiGong. It feels different, they’re different parts of this energy. It’s as if you’re looking at the heavens at night and studying the stars. You pickup a telescope and use it as a metaphor for a technique. The more you fine-tune in your view from that telescope, the more you fine-tune that technique, the better you might be able to see that one portion of the sky that is exposed to the planet at that moment in time. But what is the expense, what is the cost, what is the price that you pay when you fine-tune in that telescope of technique? Well you lose the rest of the vista, the rest of the horizon, the rest of the picture. At some point it becomes wise to place the telescope down so that we can see everything. So that we can see when we place the technique down, we can access the entirety of the energy that exists within our bubble. But here comes point number two – which is – time is moving faster. Not just in a linear fashion from point A to point B…  but time is moving faster in all directions at once – in other words, time is expanding. Which means our bubble, our playground of existence is opening up, expanding further, further out in to the Universe encompassing more of what’s always existed in the Universe but hasn’t been here before. In other words, it’s timeless in its existence but once it enters into our bubble of height, width, depth and time it is new here to us. It is not something that has been seen here on Earth before. This is not something that the New Age community likes to pretend our imagine that they can remember from a past life because sometimes some things are just new… well now isn’t that wonderful, because we’re also here for what’s new. And so what it is bringing us is levels of energy that haven’t been seen here before and expanding beyond energy into a spectrum of light and information that hasn’t been seen here before. So it’s a combination of: A – more than we’ve had in our existence and B – more than we can encompass when we use a technique. The lesson is to learn to place down the telescope of technique and we’re being given this reward because when we let go of the telescope of technique at this time we can actually access more then we would have been able to even as few as 10, 12, 15 years ago.

 So – what is Reconnective Healing? Reconnective Healing is a new level of healing that is a available to us today and allows us to more fully receive it’s gifts because it allows us to more fully reconnect to who we are. Not just as physical beings, but as spiritual beings as we experience life in this physical form.

 

6.     You travel the globe extensively throughout the year, bringing the light and information of Reconnective Healing on the Planet. What is your method to teach people how to activate and utilize this new, all-inclusive spectrum of healing frequencies?

First let’s understand one thing – you can’t teach healing. Teaching by itself is insufficient. There is a transformation that takes place. This transformation takes place once you interact with this new, all-encompassing spectrum of healing frequencies. Something changes in the tissues, the research programs around the world show that it changes and restructures our DNA. The most recent and exciting research programs are taking place right here where I am now in St. Petersburg, Russia where they’ve discovered at the main university here that it alters and affects the blood. They have demonstrated this on the Russian Olympic athletes that we have been working with here and they’ve shown it, I believe also on the doctors that we have been teaching. So it changes our blood, it changes our DNA and it even changes the gamma radiation that we emit as human beings.

 The first thing that has to happen is you have to interact with the frequencies. There are various levels in which you can to do that. On the simple basic level you can begin to access this by reading the book. Now, the keyword here is that you can begin to access it from reading the book. You can’t fully access it as well as practitioners who have attended the seminars because they are immersed, or soaking in these frequencies like tea bags for an entire weekend. But you can begin accessing it from reading the book. And even though the last third of the book is a basic “How To” so that you can begin to use this on a personal level for yourself, maybe your friends and family. If you want to truly become a practitioner at the highest level, what is required is that you attend the seminars because you are soaking in these frequencies and you are going through transformation throughout the weekend. On top of that, you are also learning the light and consciousness of this work and the consciousness of it, the philosophy of it, is part of what allows it to come through.

Let me tell you what happens at the seminars – in the simplest form because we teach these seminars around the world maybe about 45-weeks out of each year or more. What happens is generally the seminars are a Friday night, all day Saturday and all day Sunday. The Friday night is approximately a 3-hour presentation where we talk about the history of the work, the theory, the science… we bring up some volunteers so we can show live demonstrations of the healings so you can maybe experience this yourself or see it on somebody that you know. So you can see and experience the reality of it and we give everyone an opportunity to fill it in your hands. This is part of what allows this dramatic change in your tissue, in your body, in your ability to bring this through and be able to help others. This is not something you can access from a dream; you really do have to interact with it.

Now, Saturday and Sunday are different. Don’t come to the Saturday / Sunday seminar if you think we are all going to sit around, hold hands, Om and sing spiritual songs because it won’t happen that way. It’s a real working seminar. We demonstrate a level of work from the stage then we all go to the massage tables in groups of 2 or 4; I walk around to each of the tables, so does our international team of teaching assistants who have been thoroughly trained in how to help you  learn to access this work. We show you how to feel it, how to find it – you will start to see the person on the table go through physical responses right in front of your very eyes so you begin to recognize that when you are doing something and feeling a certain way you see a physical response one way on their body; when you do something else and you feel something different you’ll see a different change in their body and you start to recognize that what you do has a direct relationship, a correlation to what is going on with that person on the table. Then we go back to our chairs, we talk about what just learned, we demonstrate the next level, and then we go back to the tables again. By the end of the weekend I can pretty much make you two promises. A – you will be able to access and facilitate any level of healing that I can just by the end of that one weekend – just that one weekend. And B – you will be able to facilitate and access any level of healing that any human being anywhere on this planet can bring about… whether they were raised by monks in a cave on a mountain top in Tibet and fed grains of seed; each one flown in on a beak of an individually hand-painted bird or whether they moved to a church deep in Brazil and changed their last name from the ones that their parents gave them to ”Of God” it does not matter the story. It only matters our willingness to transcend the story.

 

7.     In which way is Reconnective Healing different from Reiki?

Well, let’s not speak about “Reiki” specifically by itself; because Reiki, as we talked about earlier, is just one subset of energy. Reiki, Johrei, Jin Shin, QiGong – all the different energy healing techniques – this is different than the techniques.  A. – Because via a technique all we can access is a subset, or small portion, or fragment or fraction of energy. This takes us beyond the entirety of energy – all the techniques in to the spectrum of energy, light and information. Instead of looking for a problem and trying to fix it, we can totally transcend the diagnosis. We can totally transcend the technique.

Let’s phrase it this way – the gift or the reward of stepping into Reconnective Healing is that this allows us to completely transcend the complicated techniques. And in return, to facilitate healings that are far greater, that tend to last for the lifetime of the person and tend to be fairly instantaneous. The challenge is whether or not we are willing to transcend our techniques.  Or, we can say that the gift or the reward of stepping up into reconnecting with who and what we are more fully, this Reconnective Healing, is that it allows us to completely demystify the healing process. The challenge is whether or not we’re willing to allow the healing process to be demystified. So the question is, if we’re not willing to transcend our techniques to do less, to bring about more… we need to ask ourselves why. And if we are not willing to completely demystify the healing process to allow it to become clear and transparent for everyone, then we need to ask ourselves why. And if we are not willing to ask ourselves why… then we need to ask ourselves why we are not willing to ask ourselves why.  Because it is within that question, the willingness to ask that question, that lies our true mastery.

 

8.     How does this therapy really work?

I don’t know. And no one really does know. That’s part of what allows us to be so great. Because in all of the techniques, we seem to approach it from understanding how it works – and that becomes the very limitation. When we say that we know the answer then we stop learning right there on the spot. We say that the answer is right, and everything outside of the answer is wrong. But when we’re willing to not know, suddenly all the possibilities and potential in the world open up to us. We say I don’t know, however I see this possibility and this and this. And when we put the possibilities together we come up with what at first seem to be better answers… but they’re not really answers at all. They’re simply the building blocks that allow us to ask better questions, because our growth comes here from the willingness to question.  As we allow ourselves to not know, we discover that we observe more and more. And by not knowing how the healings work, we simply discover and observe greater and greater healings then we’ve ever witnessed here on the planet before. So – how does it work? I don’t know and thank God that I don’t know.

9.   

From what I’ve seen so far, there apparently is nothing that this will not work with.  However, it is not the illness that has the healing. It is the individual. Three people can show up with the same diagnosis, the same sets of symptoms, and receive three different sets of results; depending on what is right for that person on their life course. Children with cerebral palsy and epilepsy – very many of them come in – and after just as little as one visit, suddenly can walk and play and speak normally, not have seizures any longer, not take their medications, not need them. And yet, for some children it might have only a partial response. Or that child might not show any response in that area but might have a healing in another area. So, it’s not the disease process that has the healing, it’s the person. And we don’t always know the reason for these different health challenges in our lives.  But what we do need to understand is that we take on these health challenges for many reasons; and we don’t understand the mind of God. We do know that some people may need their health challenges to give love, some to get love, and it is for us to grow to be willing to observe the wonders and the splendors of the healing process.

 

10.  Does it work only on physical problems or on mental problems as well?

True healing is about balance. There is no such thing as only a physical healing or a mental or an emotional healing. Healing brings everything into balance, but if the physical is the most obvious to us then that’s what we notice. If the mental or the emotional is the most obvious to us, that’s what we notice. When we try to focus on getting rid of a symptom, we are focusing on getting rid of only a part of the problem – the physical, the mental, the emotional – but in Reconnective Healing we learn that the less we know about why the person thinks they’ve come in to see us, the better off that person is, because the less likely we are to focus on one part of the problem or to limit the outcome of the healing according to what we believe may or may not be possible. In other words, a true Reconnective Healer brings about much greater results than energy technique healers because they simply pay no attention to what the supposed problem or symptoms are. Instead they step in with a consciousness of allowing for the return to the perfect vibration of energy, light and information, which therefore allows for any of the imbalances to simply vibrate out of the picture and the person to return to their natural state of optimal health.

 

11.  Can anyone else do this?

Everyone can learn how to do this. But that doesn’t mean that everyone fully understands how to do it. It takes someone to be truly consciousness enough in their own center to be willing to stand in that ego-less space to bring this work through to it’s fullest. There are only a few that dare to open their eyes. And often many who do, become blinded by what they see.

 

I’ll give you a story. There was a doctor of chiropractic who attended the Reconnective Healing seminars four different times with his wife and some of his employees, They took extensive notes every time they attended the seminar. Then suddenly this doctor decided to come up with an energy technique. I was very happy to hear that he was teaching the same philosophy of this work. Which is that you transcend technique, that it’s energy, light and information. He was the first person I heard who was out there teaching such enlightened consciousness. I was so happy until I heard the person then start to say – you place one hand on this point and you one hand on that point and you collapse a wavelength, which is technique; or that you bring a certain color in for this problem or a certain color for that problem, which is diagnosis and technique.  Or to say that there is certain wooden inlaid jewelry that you can wear that might help you access more expanded frequencies of the work as they come in, which is of course is talking about lack and limitation, that you need something else to make you more. In other words, he was speaking the words, but not doing the actions. In other words, he saw the truth of the work, found it so exciting that he wanted to teach it, but he didn’t know how to teach without giving steps so he brought the work backwards. When people ask me specifically about what he is teaching, I tell the truth – he is a wonderful bridge for people who are stuck in technique who are not yet willing or able to completely transcend the technique, they can go half way. They can at least speak the words; it’s just that their actions won’t be within integrity with the words that they are speaking.

 

In other words, there are only a few that dare to open their eyes. Yet often many of those that do become blinded by what they see.  Are you able to transcend your ego enough, to step into a healing space that says that I allow for the intelligence of the Universe to determine the perfect healing… then you can access this work. Are you able to understand that we cannot give a gift that we are not willing to receive ourselves. We cannot stand in fear and the need for control through technique and facilitate healings that reside in freedom. In other words, we cannot stand in fear, lack and limitation and facilitate true healings because healing does not reside in fear, lack and limitation… healing resides in love, oneness, unity, prosperity, light and abundance.

 

 

12.  What is that we are feeling when we are doing this?

Different sensations. You may experience a pushing or a pulling, heat or coolness. You might experience hot, cold, wet and dry all at the same time – which I know sounds very strange but once you experience it you recognize it. Little bubbles, large pulsations… it doesn’t matter what you feel. What matters is that we allow ourselves to feel, to listen, truly with a different sense. To listen with the essence of who and what we are.

 

13.  Have you ever had anyone for whom it didn’t work?

You see when we ask the question about whether something works or not, we’re not really asking whether it works. What we’re asking is whether or not we have a change in symptoms that we thought should have come about. In other words, if someone comes in and they are unable to move their right foot, and after the session they’re still unable to move their right foot then we might say it didn’t work. But of course the truth is, from what I’ve recognized, I’ve learned this always works. But sometimes it takes a form different than one you anticipate.

 

I will give you an example. A woman came in to me once, she drove 3,000 miles across the United States because she had had a pain on the left side of her face that was so sensitive, any little movement or breeze that would come by would hurt her. She had not one but two session with me, and the problem didn’t go away. So on the outside we could say, “Oh, Reconnective Healing didn’t work because the problem didn’t go away.” But what did happen was that she had lost her hearing when she was a young girl – 7,8, or 9 years old. She had had a fever and an infection and her hearing in one ear had left. And at that point in time when she saw me she was in her mid-40’s. At the end of the first session, even though she didn’t tell me about the hearing loss because she wasn’t coming for that reason, she regained her hearing. So did the healing work? Yes. Did she have the result that she thought she should have had? No, not necessarily.

 

In other words, our lesson is to recognize the perfection of healing is not to force or change a symptom. Let’s leave that to medicine with diagnosis, with drugs, with surgery. But healing is about returning to a state of balance. In other words, your role of perfection as the healer is to have the courage to open the door and leave it open. The other person’s responsibility is to have the courage to choose to step through that door. Your job is to open doors; their job is to have the courage to choose to walk through that door. Our tendency in the healing field is to try to open the door with our left hand and kick the person through with our right foot. When we do that, we are cheating in three different areas. We are denying ourselves the growth of witnessing someone to choose and step into their own healing. We are denying that other person the growth of being able to step into their own healing. And we are denying the Universe the gifts that we contribute when we get to witness, and they get to choose.

 

14.  Are there other people who are certified Reconnective Healers?

So far we have trained close to 75,000 people how to do this work around the world. Again, coming into the seminar you’ve got the ability to access mastery of this work. It is not a guarantee that you will stay there. As we said, the story of the chiropractor that I just used – there are only a few who dare to open their eyes, and often many that do become blinded by what they see.
